Use of the archives is always free of charge (with a minimal cost for photocopies), but donations are gratefully accepted.

Our collection includes:

  • Every issue of the Armstrong Advertiser newspaper,

  • every Okanagan Historical Society report,

  • obituary indexes and funeral cards,

  • clippings and ephemera related to local businesses, families, and industries, (for a .pdf list of families included in our Family History Files, please click here)

  • tax and assessment rolls,

  • an extensive photograph collection,

  • and an inventory of heritage buildings.

The Archives are accessible through the winter by appointment. If you are planning a visit, we would encourage you to phone ahead so staff and volunteers can begin to gather information for you.
